I am a mother of 2 deaf children. I joined the Board because I am passionate about bringing the community together and wanting to contribute. I absolutely love high adrenaline activities and horse riding.
I am a qualified Auslan trainer. I joined the Board because I am a big believer in the Deaf Community and want to contribute with my skills. I used to live in South Africa and New Zealand before moving here. In my free time, I like to entertain myself with fun activities or try adrenaline rush.
I am a qualified bookkeeper. Currently, I work for myself. I am a father of 3 children and a grandfather of 11. My goal for DCCQ is to become the best organisation to advocate for the deaf people. My favourite pastime is reading spiritual, history and archeology books.
I am a qualified teacher. I worked in education field for 30 years. My reason for being on the board is that I am passionate about empowering and enriching deaf people. In my spare time I fill myself with adrenaline through outdoor activities and travels. I also enjoy art and crafts.
I am a mother of 3 sons and 3 stepdaughters and a grandmother of 9. I am an Auslan teacher, being oldest Auslan teacher since 1980. I joined the Board because my ambition is to bring all kind of deafness under together in the Deaf Community. I have travelled overseas a lot. My hobby is doing garden and reading mostly spiritual books.
I am a Kiwi! I am a mother of 4 adult children and a grandmother to 8. I joined the Board because I love to contribute and participate in Deaf community. My hobbies are sewing, camping, travelling and crafts.
